Chesapeake: the Costco plan, a bridge closure and Saturday recycling

A look inside the Greenbrier proposal, an October 5 bridge closure and a Saturday drop-off. All times are local.

GREENBRIER | PLANNING DOCUMENTS

What the Greenbrier Costco proposal includes

The city's June 16 council packet places a proposed Costco at the former Sears site in Greenbrier Mall. The plan calls for replacing the Sears building, with a tire center in the new store and fuel pumps to the northeast. This is a look at the planning documents, not a new opening announcement; the packet does not establish an opening date.

What to do: Open the city packet for the site plan and project details. We will link a confirmed opening date when one is available.
